Now let’s see what the mid-week has in store for us!
Atletico Madrid vs Manchester United – BTTS (1.50)
One of the biggest Champions League fixtures takes United to Madrid and we are quite certain no one is keeping a clean sheet.
In 8 of Atletico’s last 12 home matches and 3 of Manchester United’s last 5 away matches, both teams scored at least 1 goal; this includes the most recent head-to-head meeting between the sides in Madrid.
Galatasaray vs Barcelona – Over 2.5 goals (1.30)
Given both teams’ form in front of goal – and especially Barcelona’s – we are expecting fireworks in Istanbul.
At least 3 goals were scored in 8 of Galatasaray’s last 10 home matches and 8 of Barcelona’s last 10 away matches.
Inter Milan vs Club Brugge – Inter Milan to win (1.28); Over 1.5 goals for Inter Milan (1.30)
One of the biggest gaps in quality on display this week in the Champions League sees Inter host Belgian opposition.
Inter Milan have won 10 of their last 11 home matches, scoring at least 2 goals in 9 of them.
Feyenoord vs Como – Double chance of draw or Feyenoord to win (1.95)
Surprise package Como might come unstuck in this one…
Feyenoord have not lost any of their last 16 home matches, whereas Como have won only 2 of their last 7 away matches.
Aston Villa vs Fenerbahce – Over 2.5 goals (1.65)
Fener travel to the Midlands for a very balanced fixture, but goals will likely not be in short supply.
At least 3 goals were scored in 9 of Aston Villa’s last 10 home matches, including the most recent head-to-head meeting between the teams in Birmingham.
Manchester City vs PSG – BTTS (1.42)
Certainly the most glamorous fixture of matchday 2 in the Champions League.
Manchester City have scored in each of their last 25 home matches, while PSG have scored in 21 of their last 23 away matches.
Additionally, both teams scored in the last 2 head-to-head meetings.
Lyon vs Crystal Palace – Lyon to win (2.20); Over 2.5 goals (1.65)
A cross-Channel duel in the Europa League in which the French side should have a bit too much about them for their opponents.
Lyon have won 6 of their last 8 home matches, scoring at least 3 goals in each of them.
Arsenal vs Lille – Arsenal to win on a -1.5 Asian handicap (1.70)
One of the biggest favourites to win the Champions League this season, the Gunners welcome French opposition to the Emirates.
Arsenal won all of their home games in the UCL league phase last season and 3 of those 4 wins were by a margin of 2 or more goals.
Lincoln vs West Ham – Jarrod Bowen to score or assist (1.70)
Here’s our standout Championship pick for this round.
Bowen has registered 11 goal contributions (7G, 4A) in 12 appearances this campaign in all competitions for West Ham. Lincoln have conceded 6 goals in 4 home games this season, so Bowen, being the most important man in the Hammers’ attack, has a good chance of contributing here.
LASK vs Liverpool – Liverpool to win on a -1.5 Asian handicap (1.75)
The Reds travel to Austria looking to put behind them that harsh 3-0 loss to Man City at the weekend.
Apart from a big difference in quality between them and LASK, Liverpool have also won both previous H2Hs (in 2023 in the Europa League), a 3-1 in Austria and a 4-0 at Anfield.
Bodo/Glimt vs Dortmund – Over 3.5 goals (2.05)
The team that captured everyone’s imagination last season, Bodo/Glimt, will look to provide the entertainment once again when they host Dortmund.
4 of the Norwegians’ last 5 matches, along with 3 of Dortmund’s own last 5, ended with 4 or more goals scored.
Benfica vs Celtic – Benfica to win (1.27)
Scottish champions Celtic go to Portugal for this one and are massive outsiders.
Benfica have won 6 of the 7 home games they have played this season in all competitions (D1).
Hoffenheim vs Besiktas – BTTS (1.42)
A Germany vs Turkey duel is up next.
BTTS has landed in 4 of each club’s respective last 5 fixtures in all competitions.
Hajduk Split vs Ajax – Ajax to win (1.52)
Ajax certainly have the ‘big fish in a small pond’ aura, competing in the UEFA Europa Conference League this season.
They are doing very well in away games in 2026/27, winning 6 of their 7 matches on the road this campaign (D1).
Helmond vs NAC Breda – Over 3.5 goals (1.95)
Last, but certainly not least, we bring you our customary pick from our favourite source of goals, the second division of the Netherlands.
All of Helmond’s last 3 home games featured 4 or more goals, and so did 3 of Breda’s last 4 away fixtures.
