European football is now well and truly underway, with the Europa Conference League having its opening matchday of the league phase on Thursday.
There were some very interesting results, but by and large, our predictions did well, which is why EPLNews.org should always be the place you come to for betting tips.
Now we are embarking on another European tour for this weekend’s games and bringing you the best value for goals markets, outrights, goalscorers and more. Naturally, the Premier League is our focus, but there are plenty of other selections from other competitions.

Let’s see what we have picked for this weekend.
Brentford vs Liverpool – BTTS (1.55); Over 2.5 goals (1.60)
Starting in the Premier League, this is one of the most intriguing matches of the weekend.
In 9 of the last 10 head-to-head meetings, both teams scored at least 1 goal, and every one of those matches featured at least 3 goals.
Manchester City vs Ipswich Town – Over 2.5 goals (1.40)
City are huge favourites in this one and are more than capable to land us this line without contribution from Ipswich.
At least 3 goals were scored in 5 of Manchester City’s last 6 home matches, as well as in 4 of Ipswich Town’s last 5 away matches.
Bournemouth vs Sunderland – BTTS (1.72)
Still in the Prem, Sunderland make the long trip to Dorset and we don’t believe anyone is keeping a clean sheet.
In 7 of Bournemouth’s last 11 home matches and 11 of Sunderland’s last 13 away matches, both teams scored at least 1 goal.
Brighton vs Crystal Palace – Brighton to win (1.52) Over 2.5 goals (1.55)
Brighton are in outstanding form this season and should be able to see off Palace without much fuss.
In 10 of Brighton’s last 12 home matches, and in 14 of Crystal Palace’s last 17 away matches, at least 3 goals were scored. Furthermore, Brighton has won 10 of their last 12 home matches.
Leeds United vs Manchester United – Double chance of draw or Leeds United to win (1.40)
One of England’s biggest rivalries gets a new chapter this weekend as Man U visit Elland Road.
Leeds has remained unbeaten in their last 10 home matches, while Manchester United has failed to win any of their last 5 away matches—a trend that also applies to the last 4 head-to-head encounters between the teams.
Fulham vs Hull City – BTTS (1.75)
This is a game that, despite coming early in the season, will be crucial in the battle to avoid relegation, so we expect these teams to have a proper go at each other.
Fulham has scored in 9 of their last 11 home matches, while Hull City has found the net in 12 of their last 14 away matches.
Real Betis vs Barcelona – Barcelona to win (1.45); Over 2.5 goals for Barcelona (1.76)
Over to Spain for a double pick from a game that can only really go one way.
Barcelona has scored at least 3 goals in 9 of their last 10 matches, as well as in each of their last 6 away games—all of which they won. This includes 3 of the last 4 head-to-head meetings between these teams.
Everton vs Chelsea – Morgan Rogers to score or assist (2.05)
Back to English shores for a spell.
Rogers already has 4 goals and 1 assist in the Premier League this season, along with 3 more goals in the League Cup. He is the main man in Chelsea’s attack and will be key in unlocking the Everton defence.
Swansea vs West Ham – Over 1.5 goals for West Ham (2.00)
And a detour through the Championship.
West Ham have scored 2 or more goals in 10 of the 13 games they have played this season in all competitions. They are doing especially well on the road, having registered 1.5+ goals in 5 of the 6 away games played this campaign.
Strasbourg vs PSG – PSG to win (1.45)
France is up next for an outright pick backing the perennial champions.
PSG have won their last 5 matches in a row and have a good record in H2Hs against Strasbourg (last 10: W7, D2, L1).
Newcastle vs Aston Villa – BTTS (1.52)
A huge game as Emery’s team comes to St. James’ Park.
These sides have scored and conceded in 4 of their respective last 5 games in all competitions.
Bayer Leverkusen vs Freiburg – Over 3.5 goals (2.25)
Germany is next up and this particular game should bring on the fireworks.
4 or more goals were scored in 3 of Leverkusen’s last 5 fixtures and in 4 of Freiburg’s own last 5. This line has also landed in 4 of the last 5 head-to-heads.
Jong PSV vs Dordrecht – BTTS (1.35)
Last, but certainly not least, a pick from one of our go-to leagues for the goals market, the second Dutch division.
BTTS has landed in all of Jong PSV’s last 7 matches, as well as in 7 of Dordrecht’s last 10 and the 3 most recent H2Hs.
