So let’s see what’s on for this weekend, shall we?
Arsenal vs Everton – Arsenal to win (1.45)
We start in the Premier League and this should be a routine victory for the reigning champions.
Arsenal have won their last 9 home matches, including 5 of the last 6 head-to-head encounters between the two teams in London.
Chelsea vs Tottenham – Over 1.5 goals for Chelsea (1.65)
Chelsea tend to score a lot this season, especially at home.
They have found the net at least 2 goals in 9 of their last 11 home matches, including 6 of the last 8 head-to-head encounters between the two teams at Stamford Bridge.
Napoli vs AS Roma – Double chance of draw or AS Roma to win (1.45)
Over to Italy, where AS Roma have had a very good start to the season, while Napoli… not so much.
Roma have lost only 1 of their last 11 matches, while Napoli have won just 3 of their last 10.
Manchester United vs Bournemouth – Over 1.5 goals for Manchester United (1.90)
Michael Carrick will be pushing for a response from his team after that humiliating 4-1 defeat to Como in the UCL.
Manchester United have scored in 13 of their last 18 home matches, including 5 of the last 7 head-to-head encounters between the two teams at Old Trafford.
Freiburg vs Bayern Munich – Over 2.5 goals (1.25)
Germany is next on the agenda and, as usual in Bayern’s games, we can safely expect goals.
At least 3 have been scored in 12 of Freiburg’s recent matches, as well as in 18 of Bayern Munich’s last 19 matches.
Lens vs FC Paris – Over 2.5 goals (1.65)
Over to France now.
At least 3 goals have been scored in 7 of Lens’ last 12 home matches, as well as in 7 of FC Paris’ last 9 away matches.
Barcelona vs Real Madrid – Over 3.5 goals (1.50)
The first El Clasico of the season also takes place this weekend and fireworks are all but guaranteed.
At least 4 goals have been scored in 7 of the last 10 matches between these two teams.
Aston Villa vs Manchester City – Over 3.5 goals (2.15)
Two of the EPL’s Champions League teams take on each other at Villa Park today.
4 of each team’s last 5 matches in all competitions featured 4 or more goals.
Dordrecht vs Venlo – Over 2.5 goals (1.45)
We’re headed to the Netherlands now for a pick from the second division.
With Dordrecht having played 5 home games this season and Venlo 5 on the road, it lines up rather nicely that 4 of each of those sets of matches ended with 3 or more goals scored.
Rangers vs St. Johnstone – Under 0.5 goals for St. Johnstone (1.75)
Rangers have kept a clean sheet in 4 of their last 5 home games and are big favourites to win this match. They have also not conceded in 4 of the last 5 head-to-heads at the Ibrox.
Inter vs Fiorentina – Over 1.5 goals for Inter (1.33)
It’s no secret that the Nerazzuri are doing very well in front of goal this season, but just how well?
Inter have scored 21 goals in 7 Serie A matches this season, with no other team ever managing more in the first 7 rounds of a season.
Meanwhile, Fiorentina have conceded 17 goals, letting in 2 or more in each of their 3 matches on the road this campaign.
Atletico Madrid vs Deportivo A Coruna – Over 1.5 goals for Atletico Madrid (1.40)
Over to Spain again for what should be a one-sided affair.
Atleti have scored 2 or more goals in each of their 5 home matches in all competitions this season.
PSG vs Lyon – Over 3.5 goals (2.00)
A big game in Ligue 1 this weekend.
4 or more goals were scored in all of PSG’s last 4 matches in all competitions.
Galatasaray vs Fenerbahce – Over 6.5 cards (1.50)
This is usually one of the most heated games in Europe.
All of the last 5 H2Hs saw a minimum of 7 cards dished out, with the most recent match bringing as many as 10 cards in total.
