We still have almost a week’s worth of national teams playing against each other and, as usual, the focus is on the UEFA Nations League, a competition which offers interesting games on a daily basis.
EPLNews.org is here once again to bring you some amazing value picks for these games while we await the return of club football.
As usual, do make sure to check out our YouTube channel for the best content related to the Premier League and beyond.
Our weekly livestreams will be focusing on international football, but we are still here to answer all your football-related questions every Sunday at 9am UTC.
Croatia vs England – BTTS (1.65)
One of the biggest games of the weekend and it’s hard to see anyone keeping a clean sheet.
Croatia has scored in 13 of their last 14 home matches, while England has scored in each of their last 20 away matches.
Spain vs Czechia – Under 4.5 goals (1.45)
We will get to see goals in this League A clash, just not that many.
More than 4 goals were scored in only 1 of Spain’s last 12 home matches and only 2 of Czechia’s last 14 away matches. 4.5+ did not land in any of the last 4 head-to-head meetings between the teams.
Switzerland vs Slovenia – Switzerland to win (1.35)
Only one clear favourite in this League B game and it’s the hosts.
Switzerland has won 9 of their last 11 home matches, including the last 4 home head-to-head meetings with Slovenia.
Canada vs Peru – Canada to win (1.58)
Some interesting friendly action here, with the co-hosts of this summer’s World Cup playing against South American opposition.
Canada has lost only 1 of their last 12 home matches, winning 6 of them, while Peru has lost 10 of their last 14 away matches.
USA vs Mexico – Over 1.5 goals for USA (2.20)
And the other two World Cup hosts face each other in another friendly fixture.
The USA has scored at least 2 goals in 5 of their last 6 home matches, including 4 of the last 6 head-to-head meetings played in the USA.
Netherlands vs Serbia – Netherlands to win + to score over 1.5 goals (1.45)
Back to UEFA Nations League games and this one is a very intriguing match-up.
The Netherlands has won 6 of their last 11 home matches, scoring 2 goals in each of those games, while Serbia has lost 5 consecutive away matches, conceding at least 2 goals in each.
Wales vs Denmark – Denmark to win (2.02); Over 1.5 goals for Denmark (1.87)
A two-liner here, with both picks offering amazing value, especially when considering how well the Danes have done against Wales recently.
Denmark has won the last 4 head-to-head meetings between the teams, scoring at least 2 goals in each of them.
Eindhoven FC vs De Graafschap – Over 2.5 goals (1.35)
Here comes the first of our customary goals market picks from the second Dutch division.
For this one, 4 of each team’s last 5 matches ended with 3 or more goals scored.
Venlo vs Roda – Over 1.5 goals for Venlo (1.95)
The odds are a little long for this one, but certainly worth considering thanks to the hosts’ form in front of goal this season.
Venlo have scored 2 or more goals in each one of their 8 games this campaign, regardless of playing at home or away, or of winning or losing that game.
Portugal vs Norway – Over 0.5 goals for Norway (1.40)
Haaland & Co. should not have much trouble scoring a goal in Portugal, right?
Norway have scored at least once in all of their last 10 matches in all competitions, while Portugal have conceded at least a goal in 4 of their last 5 outings.
France vs Belgium – France to win (1.55)
A massive fixture for a historic rivalry between Europe’s most important footballing nations. We couldn’t leave this one off our list, right?
France have won all of the last 6 head-to-heads, including the 1-0 in Brussels earlier this week.
Romania vs Sweden – Sweden to win (1.80)
This League B group has been a disaster for the Romanians…
They have been very poor in this edition of the Nations League, losing all 3 games played so far and sitting on a -9 goal difference.
Sweden are topping the group at the moment with 7 points and have already beaten Romania last week.
